Not since Clinton ........
.... have we had a leader who can answer questions extemporaneously and remain on point and clear and deep.

Once again, the real adults are in charge.

1. But this time,
we also got a President who tells the truth, and tells it about everything. I was thrilled that he didn't let them blame the mortgage crisis on homebuyers, woohoo!

4. Not what I was referring to
Clinton always triangulated and you could never pin him down on anything, and I mean anything. His Hope college credit didn't help working people. Welfare reform left families out in the cold. China trade ended up destroying us and was pushed by the Bushies. He'd have happily blamed the poor for the mortgage crisis. I'm thrilled we have a President who doesn't play that shit.

5. Obama just triangulated the republics.
Bill was a great President. Obama is improving on his methods. Why do you think he is playing this bipartisan game?

6. He is not playing a bipartisan game
Bill Clinton played a bipartisan game and lost. Obama is hitting Republicans right between the headlights, and will win the war even if he doesn't win every battle. The Clinton lovers will figure it out in 8 years I guess.

7. I love what Obama has done. Just because
I like both Clintons doesn't mean I have a problem with Obama. He is serious about bipartisanship, and I'm happy for that. It got us the votes to pass the stimulus. However that is just one card he can play, he will have to play others in the future.
