BRAINSTORM: What would be the best way ...
... to make sure voters remember every fucking thing the GOP is doing to us right now?

I fear that too many people will fall for the GOP-controlled media and believe whatever lies they will come up with in 2010.

What can we do to make sure they fail?

1. Get several MSM outlets bought by Democrats
Those who control the news control the people.

Or something like that.

2. And then what?
The medias are so ghettoized that whatever information is broadcast on MSNBC (for instance) will never be heard on FOX (or discussed by Limpballs).

I doubt they would believe their own eyes if it contradict what their heroes spew.

4. Something akin to bible tracts
Leave em in bathrooms, doctor offices, etc.

make em short, sweet, and factual with web links (to DU of course...).

Oh, and put on them "If you don't read this, Jesus will eat you and throw you up in hell" or something like that.

10. When I was young we created underground newspapers such as "Berkeley Barb"
I suppose something similar could be done today, especially with the internet and computers..They were left on car windows and in every laundry mat, etc...Believe it or not it took having underground papers because the "Liberal Media" would not mention any of the things we considered important.

11. I forget which DU'er pointed this out...but we need to re-hammer "Culture of Corruption"
It needs a label. Something snappy, something that the zombies will remember.

13. The GOP-controlled media has been tryin to spin that around ...
... hoping that voters will remember Blagojevich and not Cunningham, Abramoff, Bush's Dept of the Interior. Not to mention that the U.S. Attorney scandal never really got off the ground.

I agree we have to be mindful of our language, I'm just not sure how right this minute. (You're right, we do need to work on it)

14. BRILLIANT IDEA RIGHT HERE (or at least it is to me)
for me i see way too many of those dumbass RW'er chain emails. i saw an explosion during the primaries, and again during the GE.

even now i keep getting stupid fucking chain emails about how the stimulus is bogus, blah blah blah. i have to email these fuckers back en masse and explain they're funny little asshat emails apply to W's first failed attempt at a resuce/fleecing of america.

why don't we try that? my thinking is that we don't because we're not trying to force people into our views, like the rethug freeperesque population. but hey, fuck it. if they can spew bullshit, why can't we flood the tubes with the truth? not necessarily imposing a viewpoint, but rather a chain email explaining what really is at stake and how the stimulus really works, how the republicons fucked everything up, and how this shit was their fault to begin with.

my two cents at least.
