A thread to defend and endorse Hillary Clinton for President
I got nothing.

But hey, go for it, I am all ears.

She's not a republican, so has my vote if she kicks it in the primary.

If you have a case for her being the best candidate, let's hear it.

1. Best organization
and you probably agree with her at least 75% of the time.

That said, I'm not sold on her (or anyone else) either. Too weak on the War, class issues and Palestine for my taste.

8. Ya know, ya make a good point
She does have the best organization, but it still does not get me excited about her as a candidate.

3. I'm not going to advise you.
It's up to you to find out about her and up to you to decide if she is your candidate.

5. I got her senate site bookmarked and read it daily
though I can say it does not change daily...

I just zero on the excitement level, mediocre across the board, and I can't see what the hype is about except name recognition and that she is a she.

Maybe I am just missing something...

7. From my perspective, there are things
one can criticize or oppose her on and things one can defend about her. I would check her voting record on issues that are going to determine the most concerning your vote. I prefer someone that has no ties with the DLC, but that is me. Her website probably isn't going to be as definitive as you like.

9. I can agree that I do agree with her votes on some issues
But it is deeper that that. There are things about candidates that sometimes it is hard to quantify, and there is just something about her that rubs me the wrong way.

I like Obama, Edwards seems pretty cool, but she seems like someone I would - as an individual (outside politics) - have a hard time connecting with. Aloof almost.

I have tried to get excited about her, and I do read her speeches, news on her site, etc and I think potential is there, but no spark, no fire - almost like she thinks she deserves the job and others are supposed to make it happen or something.

I like Pelosi and wish she would run - a seasoned liberal whom I may not always agree with, but she has something about her that screams leadership. She can be on fire for a cause and speaks her mind point blank it seems. She, like all, make mistakes, but I think she would be more true to the cause first and foremost.

DK is someone who I think stands his ground hard, I could go for that.

Obama has a charisma that just won't quit, he seems like a genuinely happy person who wants to serve the people and not simply hold a title of office.

Edwards appears to be a real deal kind of guy who also seeks to serve to the betterment of others.

Hillary just seems more about hillary at times, maybe I am wrong - probably am - but that is how it comes across. And that image gap needs to find some sort of solution imho.

4. I hope I find something exciting about
her that I don't know now. I'm willing to keep an open mind and seeing her performance in debates might show something we aren't realizing.

One thing for sure, her money is going to be a major factor. That money buys ads.

6. I don't hate hillary, don't really like her either. Wife says she seems cold

(Wife has met her before).

I just don't have any level of excitement for her.

IE - I don't see that she could govern any better than any other of the candidates out there now (for the most part).
