We need to hit the streets (in DC).
The longer the stimulus package negotiations go on, the more concessions the Dems make. We need to increase the urgency. A half million people banging pots on the steps of Congress would do the trick.

4. this is for another reason and we will not make our point
across. We should SUPPORT the Presiden on this package. We should be marching to W.D.C. to let the GOP fuckers know, we support Obama. If we mix our support of the package to the global strike march, our message will get crushed by the media and we will be looked as liberal lunatics.

6. Hogwash.
Please provide a link for ANY march of ANY kind that is being put together NOW to show support. The Global march is to show support for WORKING people. ALL of them. The problem is GLOBAL.

20. yeah, but look at all the posts about it being cold
Far too many people waiting for someone else to do the grunt work - and for warm weather. It seems it's far easier to be an armchair warrior.

7. We need to call our Senators...
and our Governors, and our representatives, and then call other Senators. If we could get enough people to just make a damn phone call, it might actually make a difference.
