Wall Street execs charged hooker services to corporate cards?
Whores for whores?

And what does $2000 an hour get a guy? Jesus, Mary & Joseph, there must be some big redactions in sex ed for most students. We might wanna address those gaps in American education!

http://abcnews.go.com/blotter/story?id=6813806&page=1

Wall street lawyers, investment bankers, CEOs and media executives often used corporate credit cards to pay for $2,000 an hour prostitutes, according to the madam who ran one of New York's biggest and most expensive escort services until it was busted last year.
A look inside Wall Street's biggest prostitution ring.

But prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney's office chose not to pursue any of the corporate titans, says Kristin Davis, who pleaded guilty last year to charges of running a prostitution business that used more than a hundred women.

Now, if this is not just one business woman's clever ad campaign to whet appetites for services her staff can provide and keep business up in a down economy, I am mightily intrigued. And I hope she has REALLY GOOD security and some shrinks who can attest to her mental state as not being suicidal.

3. So, the government takes my tax dollars that I work hard and long for.
Gives my money to CEOs and uber wealthy bankers. Fat balding executives take my money and pay hookers to screw them. Let's cut out the middle man.

5. Wall Street bail out $ was a stimulus of a rather different nature, evidently?
No wonder all those uber rich white guys are so damned defensive of the money. No wonder they need to keep all those big tax breaks. Maybe they can't get laid without really big bucks?

We need to get this info to a whole lotta trophy wives ASAP! It will be a big stimulus for the divorce attorney sector. Perhaps they will have to put on more staff. And the staff will be working long hours, so that helps the food service industry, and the child care industry....

Hey, if enough people get screwed, it might just have a trickle down effect yet.

:grr:

4. Well, at least we know where the bonuses went.
Now, who was having reservations about going after these crooks?

This is probably how they caught Spitzer...trying to get him out of the way so he wouldn't expose them. Could you call that undercover work? Hmmm!

6. Why are the names of the hooks and johns never exposed. Only the female
who runs the business is ever named. Unless, of course, you're Spitzer, then the gal hook name is blasted.

8. A point not lost on the business woman involved. From linked article:
The escort business took in as much as $200,000 a week, Davis estimated.

But it came to a screeching halt last year in the crackdown that followed the revelation that then-New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was client #9 of a rival escort service.
...

In a plea arrangement, Davis pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution and was sentenced to three-months time served. She forfeited about $500,000 in profits as part of the deal, according to court documents.

"I, as the proprietor of a business get arrested and lose everything, when no one that was frequenting my business, spending $200,000, $300,000 a year, has been punished in any way or even looked into."

Looks like there needs to be a clean up in the ranks of investigators for NY prosecutors, or supervisors of same.

Hell, if the average Joe blew that kind of cash on paid sex and then wanted help with all his bills, we would certainly not enable his poor choices. Why are the Wall Street White Boys treated so differently? Oh yeah, POWER. And that is the turf they are so damned protective of. One wonders who in the ranks of GOP pols have eaten the fruit of this particular apple tree.

16. Maybe if we make a big enough stink about this, the Repugs will be so busy
covering their tails (and, crossing their legs) they'll forget all about the stimulus bill. They probably have enough bills from "stimulus" to worry about. You can't tell me there aren't some political types on that list.

Everybody yell! If we'd had more time, we could have had a "grand flush" and measured the water usage during the 20/20 "exposure"....as it could be called.

7. now *that's* what I call a stimulus package.
for $2000 an hour, most of those vermin probably get a semi-flaccid-semi-erect penis and a spanking.

12. I'm funny this way:
Because IMO if they put it on a corporate card, and pay off the entire thing themselves, then I could care less. If they put something personal on a corporate card, and get the company to pay for it, then I get upset. But if they pay the whole thing off, then so what?

13. When they have the madam bill it as legitimate looking business expense
I doubt seriously they are paying the bills themselves!

I am actually FOR legalizing prostitution. It would make it easier for women to earn a decent living without having to pay the pimps, be they guys in funny hats in the 'hoods or guys in fancy suits in the halls of government.
