1. Honestly
I wish I'd never hear the word "partisan" in any form whatsoever again.

5. I really thought that republicans might give Obama a chance.
Especially since everything is so screwed up right now. Unfortunately I was wrong. Now I just want Obama and the dems to ignore them or destroy them.

12. That's all it took for the repugs to make their intentions known
they're taking their marching orders from Limbaugh; they want Obama-and America-to fail. Obama reached out a hand in good faith and it was bitten. Hopefully he won't get mauled before he comes to understand that there is only one way to deal with bullies; fight back, and fight back hard.

7. Actually, it is giving the Publicans many chances to make asses of
themselves, and I am happy that they are taking such advantage of these chances. They make these predictions and posture, and after a day or so, it turns out they really are full of shit (as we knew all along).

In this battle of wits, the Pubs are unarmed, and its starting to hurt them.

8. I sort of agree with that but I don't trust Reid or Pelosi to reel them in.
Obama and his people can, but the Gutless Wonders, I have my doubts.

10. it is up to the ReThuglicans to add the "Post -" part, and they have declared publicly they will
do what ever is necessary to make him fail with the Economic Recovery... plain and simple, they have a death wish for the country, the Constitution and us...

18. If Obama succeeds, and that success is attributed to Democrats,
the repuke party is finished for at least a generation, maybe three.

They've screwed the pooch and they know it.

11. Never was, never will be.
The other side is just plain evil.

Their policies are disasters for most of us.

I don't want to get along with them; I want to investigate, expose, discredit, punish, and finally bury them.

15. I still like the concept. But unfortunately Republicans are "PARTY FIRST"
I like the idea that our politicians would focus on solving problems, not partisan games. Not gonna happen with this crowd.

19. It might if they start losing the PR battles
it's probably too early to tell if we can really move that direction. If the Obama team does a good enough job as this Recovery Act goes through, the GOP could end up looking like the Newt crew of the 90s that faced an incredible backlash and the blame for "shutting down the government."
