Wow. That honeymoon didn't last long.

It took less than a month for Barack Obama's White House to sink to the same tired, partisan games that afflicted past administrations. But the new president proved quickly this week that he can be every bit as partisan as Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

So much for "change."

Obama entered office with an economic crisis that should have been used to unite America. Instead, he and his partisan crew decided to use our pain for their political gain.

President Obama's chief of staff described the White House's mind-set best when he said, "You don't ever want a crisis to go to waste. It's an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid."

And that is exactly what they did, passing liberal legislation in the stimulus bill that would never pass otherwise.

When GOP Sen. Jon Kyl visited the White House to work with Obama on tax policy, the president quickly let him know that Democrats weren't in the mood to be bipartisan.

"I won," was Obama's response.

I'm sure his jab will cheer left-wing radicals. But for the rest of us, Obama's petulant remark is just a sad reminder of how little things change in Washington.

Fuck you Joe Scum! Liberals won the elections.

2. They're Scared Shitless...
If you were a repugnican, wouldn't you be? Their scams are about to be fully exposed to the world and they need to distract, weaken, attack and make as much noise as they can to prevent the damage that is soon to become public knowledge...if it isn't already.

Joey and his fellow wingnuts are hanging onto their "conservative ideology" and praying at the Raygun Alter in hopes of revising history and negate both their unpopularity and irrelevance. The chance that President Obama's economic program succede scares the living shit ouf of them. It all but swept the repugnicans to the brink of extinction in 1936 and a third straight loss in 2010 would all but put the party on life support. It's bitterly divided and needs to project Democratic failures as their means to hold whatever "coalition" they have left and to direct the frustration and venom away from their own inept leadership.

Lastly, they're scared shitless of the upcoming revelations of criminality and corruption that will once and for all label the booosh regime as the worst and most corrupt in American history. Many of these goons have blood on their hands and are making as much noise as they can now before they have to address real charges. They're bankrupt of ideas and soon of money...but they won't go down without making a lot of noise.

:hi:

Cheers...

3. "Less than a month" is actually 2 weeks. That is 2 weeks exactly.
The title of the article is dishonest in itself.

4. Pres. Obama could have said he had political capital and was going to spend it.
Or, we won, get over it.

You know, all that stuff we heard when the shrub was occupying the WH.
