Todd Boulanger, the fashion-forward former lobbyist and Jack Abramoff crony who was indicted earlier this week for bribing government aides, has pleaded guilty, reports the Associated Press.

Boulanger has been cooperating with the investigation, according to his lawyer. Under the terms of his plea deal, prosecutors are recommending that he spend 18-24 months in prison, with reduced time if he continues to cooperate.

Earlier this month,dengre over at daily kos did a superior piece ,truly old fasiones investigative work on the cast of charcters in the ever expanding list of guilty pleas and upcoming indictments.

I would heartily recommend that EVERYONE bookmark the article .It is a treasure trove.

From my recollection,the Golden Goose will be Kevin Ring,who has VAULTS of emails that are basically being held ransom.

It is speculated that the investigation was purposely put on the back burner to eliminate the possibilty of Bush ,eleventh hour pardons.
