Who are the Top 3 Most Powerful GOP Senators?

Disturbingly, it looks like we are going to have to be very vocal in our support for Obama's plans and very assertive in trying to discourage the repukes from hindering his vision at every turn.

It's not practical for us to write to ever single repuke politician, but I figure it might not be a waste of time to focus on the top several.

So, I'm thinking:

Mitch McConnell
Jon Kyl (at least I've been told he's powerful)
McCain

Who would you add to this list?

Likewise, should we be writing to GOP congressional reps too? I sent Mica an email yesterday after his embarrassing tantrum, but I have no clue who the "powerful" repuke congressmembers are.

Or is this just a waste of anger, emotion, typing and bandwidth?

I can't think of anything else to do, other than just keep bothering them.

Should we concentrate on powerful ones or the ones mostly likely to behave like homo sapiens? Collins and Snowe would fit in that category.

We should probably write to Dems who don't always vote the right way, too.

Watching him on tv, I get the distinct impression he is incredibly tense and fear based.
