We need a bread and butter program to bring back good jobs. A lot of people are going independent because we arent delivering the basics. They cant see the difference between the two parties.

Or are we just too broke to do this? $9 billion/day spent in Iraq just soaks up the extra money.

1. When We Elect Democrats?
My own Commonwealth of Massachusetts is one of the few states that sends actual Dems to Washington - and even one of our senators only became a Dem in the last year or so.

Time for everyone else to do their part and elect Democrats too.

2. The alternative energy programs are good job producers - especially
if congress appropriates money for the infrastructures needed to implement the programs. Also, if we can get our troops out of Iraq they military needs to re-equip from almost the ground up - there are jobs there. Health care when financed properly will add jobs. Schools need more teachers. All these issues are both policy changes and jobs programs.

3. yeah what about us that fell outta the middle class????
I fell out.
I am educated in one of those fields that they said cannot be outsourced -- law.
Have a doctorate in it, lots of experience in the field.

Looked for a job as a legal asst. for over a year - got one interview. They don't care what your skills are or your qualifications, you're too expensive and too old.

4. When we kick the corporatist element out of the party.
They are very well entrenched and have a party within the party. Until we get rid of them we're never going to get back to the FDR style of party we should be.
