Bush is always saying, "I believe in letting people keep their
hard earned money." I agree!

By the end of the 2007 fiscal year, our government will have
spent $356 Billion on the illegal Iraq invasion travesty.
For 2006, it is estimated (http://www.ctj.org/pdf/2003statecut.pdf)
that there will be 118 million taxpayers. Dividing the war money
equally, that is $2,656.71, per taxpayer.

I want my money back. It is morally reprehensible for me to
contribute to the carnage.

Better yet, here's my idea for future wars:

1. A President decides to start a war - and makes his/her case to the Nation.
2. Each taxpayer votes on whether or not to support the war.
3. Cost is divided among willing taxpayers.
4. Based on the potential pay for each soldier/contractor, and whether or not they care enough
about the mission, a group of willing soldiers/contractors is assembled.
5. Mission is carried out - only as long as there are enough willing taxpayers and enough willing soldiers to support it.
