As the Huffington Post’s Ryan Grim and the American Prospect’s Tim Fernholz reported last Friday, the CBO report being touted by conservatives and the media isn’t an actual report.
“We did not issue any report, any analysis or any study,” a CBO aide told the Huffington Post.

One of the Commentators stated, the GOP may not have the numbers
but they have convinced enough reporters to shoot holes in the
plan.

Listen to many different outlets including today on MSNBC---the
GOP talking points.

Obama had better bring the Media in and give them a 10l on his
plan and why it will work.

Noone gave more TAX CUTS already for eight years than the GOP.
We are up the creek with no paddle financially . Yet the Media
continues to believe the GOP. If the answer is tax cuts for business
and the rich, we should all be sitting pretty.

The GOP have toltally ignored the fact that the world has changed
and the same theories no longer hold.

You cannot look at tax cuts in a vacuum. With people losing jobs right
and left and there is no end until we hit 40,000,000, tax cuts are not
the answer.

For God sakes with all these people out of work who is going to get
the tax cut? The same people who have gotten them the last eight
years and guess what---we continue to make the rich richer and the
poor poorer.

7. New CBO Report

The article notes: "The full CBO report is now available here. It finds that roughly two-thirds of the plan's recovery investments will come in the first 18 months after it is enacted." Oops- not what the media is looking for. Wonder if the actual report will get half the attention that the non-report got.

The fact that the media embraced these claims says it all. The media is acting like they did in the 1990s when any criticism of Clinton, justified or not, was repeated many times by every news outlet.
