Should Obama go direct to the Internet and skip the media?

The media (I watch CNN when I can stand it) is doing a horrible job presenting the programs that the President wants to implement. No big surprise, I know. If this continues, though, we are not going to succeed because the average voter won't really know what is going on (no surprise again). Should Mr. Obama put messages directly on the internet and expand info on YouTube, etc. He could have panel discussions and do lots of stuff to go over the heads of the media and direct to the computer literate public. The media would have to show the internet material to keep up. Would they? How can Mr. Obama get the truth to the people when the Media stinks? Your thoughts......

when Wolf or John Roberts or some "anchor" has an expert on who just talks about what problems are involved with a stimulus program. The "expert" often just spews RW talking points and the anchor nods and smiles and offers no facts, much less a refutation. Can the Obama administration not have representatives on these shows? Maybe they will later....

2. Cynical me says one problem is Obama is smarter than the media -

and smarter than much of the American Idol and other worthless TV-addicted public. The 130K plus at DU ARE the choir. Each one of us knows many people who can't fathom what needs to be done and how it needs to be done. Reaching the public is not going to be easy.
