with joy and listen to the radio without having to remember where the mute button is. It's wonderful! I smile joyfully everytime I say President Obama - and I say it often and I say it fully. I don't want to call him by just his last name - I want it all there.
I'll be okay in about a week, I think. But yeah, I've been so conditioned over the last eight years to roll my eyes whenever the words "the White issued a statement today" that it can't be expected to go away all at once.
8. Yes, I still need to remind myself. Funny thing today on the radio
I live in the heart of Freeperville here in the oil patch of SE New Mexico and I was listening to the local radio in the car today. the newsreader was reading the news and pronounced Obama's name "BEARack Obama" so the first syllable sounded like Bear as in Barry
what a maroon......how long as Obama been on the scene and the idiot couldn't (or wouldn't) pronounce the President's name
11. Actually no. In fact I'm sorta pissed off that some of TV people keep referring to our President

by only his last name.
Just this morning CNN's Poppy Harlow referred to the current POTUS as "OBAMA" and not by his proper title: President Obama. Not once did she call him by his former title through her entire piece.
:nuke:
I know I'm nitpicking but this really REALLY bothered me.
15. I do when I hear President Bush, which I'm still hearing too often still.
The only time I want to hear the words President Bush in the future when they are part of the sentence, that subpoenas have been issued to him and other higher ups in his administration for war crimes and treason.
I am amazed by how fast I have come to embrace the term "President" again. In fact, I say "Our President" to my gf all the time now. It feels so damned good to be able to say that. :bounce:
