I disagree with the "hotness total." It should be a "10."

:evilgrin: FYI, a 9 pepper rating means that 9 students rated her "hot", not that she is a 9/10 hot. THAT SITE is the BANE of professors everywhere. When I was teaching as a PhD student, we would dread seeing that page after final grades posted more than we would dread seeing our own committee evaluations. I shit you not! Thankfully, my students were fairly kind, but I've seen colleagues in tears over really horrible things students write when they're rating anonymously. I've been told the site is moderated much more strictly now, but if you catch the day or two window between an abusive rating going up and the moderator pulling it, you can still see some ugly things.

and ones who were pariahs when I was in school still appear to be pariahs,

4. I looked up some of my old professors

They were rated exactly as I remember them. Actually, with a certain professor I was quite happy to read the comments. When I was in his class (10+ years ago) I thought I was just the biggest idiot and the only one that didn't understand what was going on. Turns out, everyone that rated him thinks he makes the material impossible to understand! I wasn't so dumb! I got an A in the class but boy did I struggle for that.
