Glitch with Google

PROBLEM:

1. Navigate to the Google home page.
2. Type "failure"
3. Click "I'm feeling Lucky"

The resulting website is www.whitehouse.gov, which of course is now President Obama's site.

I've called the White House, and they don't understand the problem. I've called Google, and they won't deal with the problem.

I've read where they "supposedly" fixed the problem, but it hasn't been rectified.

What are some of our options to de-google-ize the "I Feel Lucky" navigation problem, or better yet, redirect the navigation to Bush's private site?

1. It's not a glitch, just where the search has gone for awhile

There isn't someone at Google who redirects search terms like that. It's not Google's responsibility to shuffle search results, especially when they've been googlebombed like that for years.

If you want to start redirecting it, then start linking the word "failure" to wherever Bush is now, and wait for a few million other people to do so.

I believe that the issue had been resolved. Danny Sullivan had spelled the problem out quite nicely.

a lovely story (from CNN I think) "As George W. Bush spends his final days in office, a national poll suggests that two-thirds of Americans see his presidency as a failure"
