As I said in the OP ..... there seems no particular reason to think it is her.

I **think** what happened is her office released the invite as soon as they got it and no one else did the same. The crack media did what they always do these days - report what they hear without checking the back story. Sure enough, when they did, her office released a second statement saying that she **and everyone else** were invited.

The media's record on covering all this is fer shit. As is Patterson's own press operation. So far, he looks like an indecisive wackadoodle. Not saying he is, but that is kinda the way he's coming off.
