She posted today that she felt sorry for those of us who are feeling optimistic, today -- as we are sure to be disappointed in the future.

I wrote back and asked her, "As compared to what -- the past 8 years of peace and prosperity?" I then asked her not to feel sorry for us -- there was no need.

She then commented, "Do I need to remind you that the Democrats have controlled Congress for the past 8 years? So now you have a Dem President and Congress to continue this downslide..."

I set her straight on the Congress comment, and then her daughter chimed in by saying, "Mom, after talking politics with liberals for the past few years and presenting them with solid facts and research, you would think that they would finally get it."

Oy vey...!!

10. I feel your pain. A good friend of mine *literally* thinks Obama is the anti-christ.

He posted on FB today stating that he was waiting for the rapture now that the anti-christ had been inaugurated.

As you might imagine, I don't have much contact with him anymore.

I mean Burger King (I think) had a deal where you could trade in a loser friend for a free whopper and they were even nice enough to let that Facebook "friend" know about it.

I would have traded this loser in a heartbeat, childhood friend or not.
