A fact orientated regime has now entered the building, and gone are the regime of witches, named so by Elizabeth Edwards in 2004. I hope your choice will also inspire Europe and the rest of the world.

It wasn't possible to counter the smart Dem campaign this time, and there was no way they could 'better' their result when the election was over. I think the Democrats also set a new standard for how future elections will be conducted by focusing on a verifyable and transparent election process, blocking the Repub's possibilities to influence upon the result in secrecy afterwards. But you did much of the job, ordinary people just caring about democracy you know. It was a nice thing to see.

Lordy, this is the first time I've typed "Bush and his cronies" since he left. He's really, really gone.

He's gone. I feel much safer now, in ways that I have problems in explaining, although Obama's starting point isn't the best (it's probably the worst possible for any president). He need our support still. But Bush is gone and that feels so good! :D

The more lasting coalitions that can take over from the sharkish self-centered coalitions of Bush. Bush has enabled dark forces in Europe during his eight years as emperor and this must be countered by reason, bridge building and peace. Internationalism of the old kind, which had as focus to solve problems to the good of all, not just a select few.

Good grief, it's really true. What a .. incredible eight years this have been? If history remains free (and we just got a good step forward in making it so), it will thrash the Bush precidency completely. There is no other words than complete disaster that will suffice to describe it.
