10. He is such an asshole. Here is a bit of gossip about Rush.

My ex-boyfriend was a decorative painter/ faux finsher. His company was extremely talented for that sort of thing. Anyway, his boss was somehow hooked up to the Limbaughs and commissioned to do a large ceiling sized mural featuring chubby naked angels (putti), clouds and all sorts of Renaissance flourishes. Prior to this, the entire decor of their monstrous Florida home was peacocks. There were peacocks EVERYWHERE. But now Ms. Limbaugh was over her peacock mania and wanted to pay BIG bucks to make them disappear. In a playful gesture or wink to the former style, the painters added a single peacock feather held by one angel and tickling the nose of another. Ms. Limbaugh really freaked out. She did not think it was cute, but was actually offended. It toolk a lot of smooth talk and coddling to get her to calm down and allow the painting crew to resume their work. Mind you, she had no problem with the abject tackiness of the whole thing, she was just really anti-peacock and that one father was enough for her to blow her aerobicizing stack.

Aside from being married to a humorless, possibly anorexic fool, Rush hung out with strippers in his hot tub and did lots of drugs according to my ex's boss who was the only one of the painting team to spend time (lots of time) in Florida at the Limbaugh house. Because he was gay, Ms. Limbaugh decided that he was "one of the girls" that she could confide in over a bottle of champagne. This was in the late 90s and I was always blabbing to people about Rush's drug use and fondness for sex workers. The pill scandal was no surprise to me, nor was his sex tourism to the Dominican Republic.
