I am canadian, standing here in my shop, determined to not allow myself to be swept up in the events of today.......and then Barack Obama began to speak on the radio.

I found myself stopping work, drifting over to the radio, turning in up.....listening intently........
and then wiping tears from MY eyes - wow.

So......listen guys and gals down "there".....you did GOOD electing this man.

The only reason I would curse him, and that was in jest by the way......is because he made me listen when I did not intend to, cry when I was determined not to, and made my heart almost burst from such eloquent words. Wow.
