Twas the last night of George Bush When all through the lands People were laughing and listening to bands. They were laughing and crying and even shook hands!
They threw shoes at the White House for one final time. And toasted Obama With soft drinks and wine. Even pundits agreed that Obama was FINE!
People partied in streets and they partied in houses Boys kissed their sisters while some kissed their spouses. But back at the White House, George and Laura, Quiet like mouses.
The White House sat silent. Dark but one pane. The ghost of Dick Nixon Could be heard in refrain, "Don't talk to Frost, or Helen, Dear George. Never let on that you're really insane!"
And for those that looked sharp at the top of the dome. Saw Martin, and Bobby, Jack and Lincoln. Those that looked sharp saw them smile and then sigh "This Job is done, now lets go home."
Just a Yeller Dog's tribute to the people of DU and others that worked so hard to see this day happen.
