10. No 747 type rating, and he's not in the Air Force
Besides, the rest of us deserve good piloting too.

4. That the "Change of Presidents" means that AirForce One's "Captain" is REMOVED..and
an "OBAMA PRESIDENT's PILOT takes OVER! A good thing given the assassination of Presidents.

It's the "TRANSITION of POWER!" It's good for Obama not to have Bush Pilot all sad and crying over how he "loved President Bush" being Obama's Pilot...

7. Maybe he should be executed so as to remove all doubt
He's starting to sound like a REALLY dangerous guy.

8. Execution might be a tad extreme, maybe he should experience ...
... enhanced interrogation to find out what he knows.

9. He knows how to fly Air Force One, which carried scores of important people
I get the whole Bush thing, but to disregard someone who *flew Air Force One*? They don't advertise for that job in
Soldier of Fortune. To pilot AF1 is to earn one of the most solemn duties there is in this country.

Bully for Obama that he has his own (highly skilled and qualified) pilot, but the innuendo that he would be in danger
with Bush's pilot is puerile and laughable.

Wanna know what would be more dangerous than keeping Bush's AF1 pilot? Keeping Bush's WH chef...

Oh, wait, Obama IS keeping the kitchen help.

Oh, no.

11. And the kitchen help is celebrating, I'm here to tell ya
One of the revolving-door presidential chefs that worked in the Bush White House reported that every day Bush was in the White House, he had to cook a can of spaghetti-o's, a grilled cheese sandwich, a hamburger and a hot dog. He would then present one of the four to Dipshit, who would send it back and demand something else be delivered to him instantly.

I have this feeling that our new 47-year-old president will eat more like an adult than the 60-year-old one we are getting rid of.

13. You know, with unemployment about to eclipse 10% and a deficit my great-grandkids will pay on
...I couldn't give a good shit what Bush ate every day. I'm sorry. I know I'm supposed to wish irradiation upon every
molecule that came under the slightest of influence by GWB, but I don't fucking care. Obama might like more sophisticated food. That's just great. I care more about what he does before and after he eats. Obama belongs on the cover of the Economist, not Food & Wine.

I can't bring myself to wish ill everyone who did their job with courage and honor just because it was in service to someone I don't like. I'm hoping this thread is more tongue-in-cheek than it looks.

25. Yeah, I remember hearing that rumor...
though the way I heard it, he always had a BLT, a peanut-butter & honey sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich or a cheeseburger. And yes, the chef would bring his food out, and Bush would send it back and demand one of the other three.

15. I think after 8 years of these people ...
... it's hard to trust them.

Considering the Justice Department hired people based not on qualifications but on their religious affiliations. Oh, and didn't the Air Force have some kind of controversy a few years back with their academy?

I'm not saying the pilot was a partisan hack, but that's where the well-earned distrust for the GOP and everyone associated with them comes from.

18. Quite cunning, those Bushevik pilots
Serving with a perfect safety record, lying in wait for Obama to step on the plane, so they can
crash it into the cornfields. Riiiight.

Come on. I can get behind some dickhead on the White House staff being unqualified to shine Obama's shoes,
but the pilot of AF1? You're stretching realllllllly far, which is shameful. You're smarter than this.

14. IOWD's.... Does any President feel SAFE using anything a Former President of another Party Used
before him? In THESE TIMES? You gotta be kidding me that you think that any President would trust a "Trained Professional" with LOYALTIES to ANOTHER PRESIDENT.

Would Chimpy have trusted Clinton's "AirForce-One" CAPTAIN? I don't think FOX NEWS FOLKS would have GONE ALONG WITH THAT ONE!

22. If I was Obama I would certainly think that approprate...for my safety and sanity...
wouldn't you after eight years of Bush? And, BTW ...scrub that plane for "Bugs" phone and internet.

I'd feel better if he was flying a "Fresh Plane" but then the cost of that would be enormous. :-(

27. It's protocol and customary for the New President to have everything replaced...
So whether you like the "former pilot" or not and liked the "clean-up crew" and others who served the plane their time was DONE. It's always a "Clean Sweep."
