I know that in less than 24 hours Barack Obama will be president. But we have been suffering for so long, for eight long years, it just doesn't seem real yet.
I was shocked at the depth of my emotion when Obama was declared the winner; am now wondering what I will do when he's sworn in.

Obama is asking all of us to take an active role in his administration and I intend to do just that. He can't fix our problems and we shouldn't expect him to; he will need our help.
I got very emotional yesterday while watching the concert with Lincoln looming in the background. I realized this IS real and we are lucky enough to not only witness a new chapter in American history but be a part of it. Fantastic.
