Any guesses? I would say not a fraction, not an iota of the excitement, the hope, the attention, the vast numbers of people. It would be interesting to "be a fly on the wall", so to speak of the Freeper brain. They couldn't conceive of this sort of energy, since their world is so based on division, contempt, and self loathing.

If we ever needed any evidence that our cause was right and just and timely - it is right there in front of us all!

I can't ever remember the country ever being this excited over a Presidential swearing-in...

8. Palin's family would have killed off McCain sometime....
before Christmas so we would be seeing a bunch of trashy Wasilla hillbillies drinking and shooting off guns.

The up side is they would be used to the cold weather.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

10. Naw, they would have waited until after the inauguration to do him in.
Then Sarah would get to bring all her animal heads to the Oval Office!

12. Yup!
I am so glad that the devious duo you mentioned will be crawling back to the woodpile! If I never again hear the name of, or catch a glimpse of that evil wench who attempted to run for VP and FAILED, life will be truly beautiful. :-)

16. You'd be seeing OTHER people sing stuff by Heart and Springsteen at the concert.
Plus the the Warner Music Group and other artists like Van Halen, Foo Fighters, John Mellencamp, and Jackson Brown--you know--the folks that had to tell Grampy and Caribou Barbie to cease and desist from using their music.

I also expect that if they wanted to give Grampy a treat by playing some of his favorites stuff, they might have had to resurrect a few folks who died about 20 years ago, and they'd have had to play the Theme from HeeHaw just for the VP.

Oh--and ABBA. Lots of ABBA.
