They will say that they regret not looking deeper in Bushworld. So, yo make amends to 'the American people" they'll look at everything and anything to do with the Obama administration.

This will start within two weeks.

Bet on it.

2. Respectfully disgree. Publishers need money...
... and need to sell papers. The more that real journalists turn over rocks, publishers will see sales increase.

3. No doubt about it. And if Obama makes any actual populist moves,
they'll even make things up.

4. It will be Clinton all over again.
This time, I believe Obama has learned from the past and has come prepared with a full arsenal to fight with though.

7. Unfortunately...the 'populace', not Obama ..
are the only ones who can put pressure on their representatives to pass legislation. I don't see that happening, do you? People are too into perfection, and ripping anything/one that does not measure up to their own expectations. The art of politics is dead. My way or no way.

5. I don't think so...
They've never reported the things that we have known to be true for a long time now, and are already re-writing history.

8. That is what Seymour Hersh has said
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/oct/19/seymour-hersh-new-yorker-reporter

A Democrat who truly despises the Bush regime, he is reluctant to make predictions about exactly what is going to happen in the forthcoming election on the grounds that he might 'jinx it'. The unknown quantity of voter racism apart, however, he is hopeful that Obama will pull it off, and if he does, for Hersh this will be a starting gun. 'You cannot believe how many people have told me to call them on 20 January ,' he says, with relish. ' "You wanna know about abuses and violations? Call me then." So that is what I'll do, so long as nothing awful happens before the inauguration.'

Basically people are waiting until after Bush is gone to start coming forward, according to Hersh. So there will be some investigations. Networks like FoxNews will try to cover up the results, but the internet, MSNBC and probably the TV networks will end up reporting on the abuses.

10. You can bet on it.
However, I would advise the Obama administration to threaten to withold their access to the WH. Clinton could have done it and it would have snapped them back in line in a heartbeat. If that's undoable, perhaps it time to re-examine the MSM behemoths and begin busting them up. The current level of media consolidation isn't healthy for Democracy.
