This question is more about the uber paranoid 'security' forces than the people who will be in attendance. How may people do you think will be arrested on the Mall during Tuesday's festivities?

1. I think a few for disorderly conduct, but nothing more.

2. A handful of crazy-ass freepers.

3. And maybe a couple of stoned-out old hippies

who get a little carried away with their celebration of the arrival of the Age of Aquarius.

4. If more than a few, it will be due to provocation caused by the Freep contingent.

Absent these assholes, there would be none of significance.

Out of a few million they might have to enforce pot-smoking and public intoxication ordinances.

5. Of COURSE, the cops will be there randomly arresting people

for merely IWB, Inaugurating while Black. And of COURSE they'll arrest a couple white people just so they can say they aren't "profiling." You can bet on that much. All in all, though, I'd say they'll arrest less than 50. I just hope they don't shoot anyone needlessly this time.
