7. Absolutely Not!
Before I begin...:sarcasm:
Get in lockstep and repeat after me.
Obama is change we can make believe/not believe in!
Obama is no f*cking change except for the worst!
This is Not the change I voted for!
Obama is Not change, this is creeping conservatism!
Obama = Change to the new right!
Get behind the DLC and march along like good little soldier
Obama is a centrist perpetuating DLC Corporate crap
Obama made clear promises made that are now being broken.
Obama is Certainly not what he represented to us in the primaries.
Obama is the third Clinton term
Obama is a DLC stooge
Obama is ingnoring progressives that are the only reason he was elected.
Obama is going to face a severe backlash "from the population that elected him"
Obama is a Trojan Horse. He is in diguise to bring the DLC Centrists back in power.
I want my money/vote back.

9. Concern Trolling Is A Fine Art Around Here...
Recently, after reading Will Pitt's post, I thought that November 3, 2008 will be the high water mark of DU...a true sense of unity had taken hold here and optimism flowed. I knew it wouldn't last, but it was energizing at the time as we all worked hard to bring a change and were about to see positive results. It felt great then, it still feels great now.

As another poster noted...there are some who aren't happy they didn't get their "bright blue bike"...ready to issue their "concerns" about President Obama even before the afterglow of election day had worn off. I consider a lot of this being all the years of frustrations coming to the surface and all the expectations that are being placed on this new Administration. There's so much to do, and when one's applecart is tipped over, out come the "concern". I guess you just can't satisfy everyone.

I'm still not ready to give a sigh of relief...booooosh has a nice big pardon list and "retroactive" immunity that he's gonna spring. I'll sure feel a lot better when I see President Obama's hand raised and taking the oath.

11. When the darkness is flushed away from the fabric of this nation,
then I will put it behind me. It doesn't preclude me from celebrating a most wonderful victory (the first step).
