"My fellow Homelanders, it's been a long eight years fer all of us. While we all look ahead to the future with a certain sense, it's a sense, of trepledatiousness, we leave behind an era with both good, bad, and ugly.
The good: Merkin bidness had a few shining stars: Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, KBR, Diebold. We introduced the terrists to a recruitment opportunity they hadn't enjoyed before 'Mission Accomplished' and are keepin' our fightin men and wimmin fightin the terrists even as we kinda but not really hand over the nation to Iran. Iraq, I meant.
The bad: other Merkin bidnesses maybe kinda sorta didn't do so well, like GM, Lemmon Brothers, and AIG. But with your help, and the help of your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, we'll deliver all the help these companies need to keep those golden parachutes shining brightly.
The ugly: folks who try to paint me and Dick and the gang as some kinda gang, a gang which who harmed the balance of powers, ignored the Constitution and civil rights, practiced torture in defiance of the Geneva Convention, illegally spied on Americans, failed to act on warnings about "bin Laden determined to strike within the United States", failed miserably after Katrina struck New Orleans, used the Justice Department as a political weapon, ignored science, denied Global Warming, called for more freedom to pollute with such things as "Clean Skies" initiatives, illegally defied Congressional subpoenas, killed a million innocent men, women and children and displaced four million others, utterly destroyed an entire nation with a war based on lies, and turned a budget surplus into the worst economy since the Great Depression, possibly worse before it's over.
That's jes' plain ugly, my fellow Homelanders. Best of luck to you, President yet-to-be Obama. She's all yers. Heh. Heh heh, smirk."
