"INTELLIGENT FALLING"

Wonderful ltte in this morning's Gulfport Sun-Herald. There is a Bill in the Mississippi (#1 state in obesity and unwed teen pregnancy) legislature requiring stickers be put on public school textbooks WARNING that evolution is a theory. Letter writer asks: "Did you know that gravity is also a theory, yet we don't see groups warning people about that one?" And then mentions intelligent falling! And the astute writer ends with "Please, let us not waste any more of my and your tax dollars on this issue. Please, let us not make Mississippi look more foolish then it already does.

2. I feel for you BossHog.

There's no excuse for that kind of ignorance. Maybe, if they stop believing in gravity en-masse (as it is "just a theory"), they'll fly off the planet and the rest of U.S. can go back to sanity.

3. Its somewhat sad

considering the state's number one status in so many negative categories. Every time I see one of those signs tacked to electric poles advertising free drug and dna testing I am reminded that conservative values are one of the things majorly wrong with our country.
