The Vince Foster suicide was investigated and then investigated again and then again and then again and yet blowhards like Rush Limbaugh and Hannity still bring it up...I guess that was so much worse than torture and other "war crimes". Republicans didn't keep investigating Foster's death for their hatred of Clinton they did it to insure Justice...Right...Investigating to see if "War Crimes" were committed though would absolutely be only for Revenge and Bush* Hatred...I have to admit I am completely baffled by how the Republican mindset works..

7. It's Called Selective Memory...and Dot Connection...

One of the biggest chestnuts the wingnuts used to "justify" invading Iraq was that Saddam had used WMD on "his own people". Of course this was never put in proper context...being that the gassing occured in 1988...or that it was the Kurds, who were NOT his people...or that there were reports that the gas may have come from Iran. But why let any doubts or facts get in the way of using dot A and dot G to come up with a "straight line".

The wingnut mindset works on simplex...never let facts get in the way of a good spin. If history needs to be revised, so be it. If lies have to be made...works for me. Then take this meme, spread it all over hate radio and blast fax it to the corporate media stenographers and you can make any "conspiracy" or "concern" into a talking point.

Lastly...we have the "equivelency" game...the one the corporate media always plays to show it is "balanced". Yep, somehow the needless deaths of thousands of Iraqis and Americans are equal to a long closed suicide...because it fits two political narratives, and that's all that matters. It's like watching the surreal questions Eric Holder is getting about the Marc Rich pardon, while not a single question is asked about torture or the lies of previous Attorney Generals that destroyed our justice system.

This is par for the course...and rather pathetic...as we see the GOOP can only hang onto old slimes and supposed scandals to try to sound relevant. Pathetic indeed.
