here's my idea for a stimulus package, tell me what you think.

every taxpayer gets one year of their adult life tax-free.
one year of your life, you choose which one, between the ages of 20 and 50 with zero state or federal income tax.

folks would pay down debt or buy stuff and generally help the economy AND THEMSELVES debt-wise.

you could wait till your rich uncle leaves you something or when you sell your house, or you could choose next year.


the nay-sayers say everybody would choose this year and the country would go bankrupt.
I say it would be no more risky than having the taxpayers propping up badly run companies.


so what do you think? be honest. could it work?
