"Cut Government Spending"
---

I work for a Public Works Department within a city in California.
Now times are getting tough and possible layoffs loom.

I don't know which is more pathetic about the RW'ers I work with.
The fact that they aren't overjoyed with their old mantra of "cut government spending" when it hits this close or...
...the fact that they hate "socialism" while at the same time deriving every penny of their pay and bennies from the US taxpayer.

1. I agree with them
but the place that the country has to cut is the Pentagon, 10% per year until the spending is in line what potential enemy countries spend as a % of GDP and the military is a defensive force instead of an imperial one.

Our survival depends on cutting this part of government spending.

Right wingers never get the point until they're the ones getting the shaft.
