Edited on Fri Jan-09-09 03:44 PM by Scooter24
in his "defense"

He went on and on about how the House was impeaching him because they didn't approve of his legislation. Lots of rhetoric, no substance.

Then quoted a famous British poet. He also had a man in a wheelchair and a single mother with a crying baby behind him as well.

Not a word about his actions on why the House really did impeach him.

74. What did he quote?
The first Tennyson poems that come to mind are "The Charge of the Light Brigade" and "I'm to be Queen of the May" - neither of which seems awfully relevant.

Or is it 'The Brook'? I suppose this verse might fit a talkative politician:

'I chatter, chatter, as I flow
To join the brimming river,
For men may come and men may go,
But I go on for ever.'

mathematically impossible to meet with them.

And even after one meeting, how is someone supposed to know you well enough to make such vital decisions about your life?

Some people don't know what's right for themselves, but if we ourselves don't always know, how do strangers have any better clue?
