..... that's quite out of context. She was interviewing someone who wrote an article postulating that America is more post racial than it might seem, and that Obama's election was an indicator of that. The flip side of his thesis is that whites are on the decline. They also spoke about young white people saying - without animus - that it isn't so cool anymore to be white.

I'm not taking up for the Airheaded Contessa. I think she's a moron. But this particular quote you cite was out of context and in that respect, misleading about Ms. Brewer's motives in saying it.
