Are there any musicians noting the new president?
Anyone out there jazzed? Or is this not the time to be excited?

1. Here's one from DUer musiclawyer:

Time marches on as the future deems all walls come down for you and me

Kick
For one and all my country calls sails to the wind and no more spin
Kick
The elephant comes and just gums things up so kick the walls down and let the donkey in
Kick

Feeling smothered, America wakes from its slumber
Enough of ignorance, we long change that’s not pretend
The times call out for union, healing and a shared sense
of what we’ve built, and value, and take so much for granted
And- with- things so imminent we shout out Barack O the destined President
In this predicament we shout out Barack O the destined President
The modern Lincoln’s here now, we are now prepared it makes so much sense
Exactly- what- we need now, a yes- we- can President
Taking on the elephant, he healed him
As he won him over with strength and trust and reason
The donkey knew his place in the pageant of leaders
To accompany the man most wise and fearless
And with things so imminent we shout out Barack O destined President
The day will dawn- to shine light on Barack O P-O-T-U-S
Share the good news share the good news

6. You're welcome. The pronunciation of "Barack" is a regional thing, apparently. :) nt

3. I'm weird. I
have an i-pod, but haven't downloaded music in years. I did it for years, slowly, when downloading wasn't an issue.

I heard it's safe now. Limewire or what?

8. GroovElectric is giving away the download on their website
they invite you to make a donation but they don't require it.

You can just right click on "download" and select "save to" and download to your
MP3 player or ipod.

7. Funny to see Deadmau5 on that playlist.
(Boyett misspelled it)

I've 'known' him online since about 2002 when he was still using Fruityloops, as it was called back then.
