1. Huh? US-Iran tensions? So Israel has no 'skin' in this game?
I haven't read it, but will. Thanks, I think. :)

2. Has the fool checked our army?
We couldn't fight his maiden aunt. We are exhausted, tapped out, over-extended to the nth degree.

5. I watched the interview and
appreciate the pilot's plea. I agree the US should be putting pressure on the Israeli government to get to a cease fire immediately.

However, to be accurate he said this could "escalate to a world war." While he mentioned the US/Iran situation, it was not in the context of a causal relationship... any more than the widely held view that general conditions in the ME could eventually lead to world war. He talks about the "US/Iran" situation as if we are the only country concerned about Iran's nuclear ambitions.

He basically said what, I expect, what those Israelis opposed to their government's current actions are saying.

In any event, it is time to get the peace process jump started. I expect Obama will be much more willing to pick up the ball that this administration has dropped.
