8. I was 23 when my daughter was born,
and 25 when my son was born, in 1973 and 1975. I got my two beautiful step-children several years later. Now, my oldest of 5 grandchildren, is 16 and has an appointment for his drivers test on the 19th of this month. My how time flies! (except for the last 8 years and they took FOREVER!)

9. 37 for the first -
41 when my second was born. We were very lucky, both are very healthy. Now, if I could recapture about a tenth of their energy, I'd be in good shape!

13. "I am not child-less, darling....
I'm child-FREE!" LOL!

That's been attributed to Talolah Bankhead, but I can't verify that. I love the quote though...

Never wanted one, never regretted not having one (I'm 40)

What prompted the poll, j/c?

14. Too bad I can't check more than one...
I gave birth to my first daughter in 1987, at the age of 18.

My second daughter was born when I was 20, in 1990 (I turned 21 when she was 2 weeks old).

My third daughter was born when I was 22, in 1991.

19. I was almost 30 when my daughter was born..
.. almost 31 when my son was born. I lived my life, did all my partying and hellraising *before* I settled down and had kids. I watched my older sister get married and have a baby right out of high school.. and watched her and her husband struggle through it (and have another baby). Hell, I was loaning them money when I was 16 & 17 years old... I never wanted that for myself...

It was *still* scary as hell having them when I was older, but I've done pretty good at raising them alone for the past 12-13 years... there's no way I could have done this at 18, 21 or even 25...

Peace,

Ghost
