c-span's Washington Journal

he was on to tell us of the many successes Smirk has had - like - no child left behind and THE surge, Medicare part D, etc.

and he also said that people are flawed but sometimes they get it right re: smirk.

callers sent him packing.

wonder what the neo cons paid him to go on W.J.?

1. Love it how they keep trying to paint anything of his as a success.
Pretty pathetic. My favorite defense line will always be "History will judge him."

If anything history will paint him worse than the present. The 19% are either dying from old age or FReeps who stand no chance of reproduction...only the RW Jesus nuts who pop em out like bunnies will remember him in any positive light...and they are quite insane.

2. That's My Guess Too
History seldom looks more favorably on people than the present. The Truman thing is a myth because the polls taken at that time were scientifically invalid and Truman was never as unpopular as the numbers (flawed) suggested. So, Truman needed far less rehabilitation of image and legacy as reported.

Nearly every president, viewed through the lens of history, is seen as less a "great" person then they were viewed at the time. (See Andy Jackson. He was quite popular then, but the more we know about him the less attractive he becomes.)

So, the whole "history will judge" thing is a pipe dream, if they think it means his 8 years will be viewed more favorably.
