1. C-span is rerunning the best speeches of the 2008 election right now!
So far, I've seen Obama's victory speech, his Iowa speech, his Race speech. Right now, Hillary concession speech is on.

I'm taping them all!

That's wayyyyy better than anything Tweety could offer.
And yes, I saw that special. It was horrible. truly.

3. It wasn't ALL due to Bush and the GOP
Let's not overlook the incomparable contribution from the popular media, including slobbering cable show hosts who couldn't tear themselves away from the riveting image of Commander Codpiece strutting across the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln.

4. The guy at the end of the show was pretty vomit-inducing, all right
Speaking of Bush's AIDs effort in Africa, "This was a president for whom every life, every spirit, was important."

5. That was Mark Halperin.
One of the right wing's favorites, no doubt.

6. his vomit-inducing reference to NCLB had me throwing slippers at the set.
Wonder how long it took them to scrape the brown stains from his nose? He's probably so familiar with Bush's ass he could draw a map of the pimple scars and the ingrown hairs from MEMORY. :puke: :puke:

8. Too bad that supposed respect for life wasn't
evidenced for the dead and maimed in Iran, Afghanistan and New Orleans. If "every life, every spirit was important" how come we weren't allowed to even see photos of the coffins of our brave soldiers who gave their lives for Bush and Cheney's wars?
