Goodbye 2008
If it wasn't for the victory of Hope, the year would have completely sucked. I'm thankful I made it another year (tumor free I might add), I have a new kitten (can't replace my dogs) and my beautiful Daughter and I are friends again.

2009 is going to be like a Spring morning.

Happy New Year

1. Hello 2009

Trends and predictions for 2009

"Massive shift. Massive changes. No road map. But there are paths. This is what they said.

"They observed that North American culture and ways of life would experience high stress in the year ahead, perhaps more stress than the country has ever been through, citing the American Revolution, the Civil War and the Great Depression.

“We have to change,” they said. “Everyone knows it, but no one yet knows what will replace it.”

4. I'm glad your health is improving
and that your relationship with your daughter is better. I hope the New Year brings a contiued restoration of your health and your relationship with your daughter.

And a New kitten is great- we have three kitties, Boo, named for Boo Radley from "to Kill A Mockingbird" because she is quite timid, Loki- named for the Norse god of mischief, because he is a provocateur and Chester- who was named at the Shelter we adopted him from and we figured he was enough of a head case without us confusing him further by changing his name. What is your kittie's name?

Here's to a better 2009 for the entire world.

10. I have nothing but hope for 2009
2008 started sucking for me the day Heath Ledger died (Jan. 22), and except for the Phillies winning the World Series and Obama getting elected, it has continued to suck.
