Unsubstantiated Rumor of the Day: Bristol's Baby to be Born on Christmas Day
This from The Immoral Minority. Pathetic, if it turns out to be true.

http://theimmoralminority.blogspot.com/2008/12/unsubstantiated-rumor-of-day-bristol.html

I first heard this rumor about two days ago. But since then I have seen it repeated over and over again all over the Internet.

And I thought, just like I am sure just you did, no freaking way!

How could anybody, and I mean, anybody, have the audacity to orchestrate such a transparent attempt to manipulate peoples emotions on this holiest of Christian holidays?

But then I remembered that we were not talking about just ANYBODY, we were talking about Sarah Palin. The same women who engineered a second ethics probe to offset the findings of the first one, and the same person who finally released a note from her doctor to answer the questions about where her medical records were THE DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION!

To any rational person these things are completely transparent. But NOT to the people who seem to worship Sarah Palin like the Virgin Mother herself. And if you think that I am exaggerating the situation then just take a gander at this site http://www.palinforamerica.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6 . And this site http://www.sarahpalinfans.com/ . And this one http://www.palinforamerica.com/ . And unbelievably this one http://www.womenforsarahpalin.net/ .

Frightened yet? Yeah, well join the club.

So will the newest Palin addition really be born on Christmas day? Hell I don't know.

But if he is I certainly hope that the MSM finally says "enough is enough", and starts doing the kind of probing investigation into Sarah Palin and her family that the blogs have been trying to do for over three months now.

5. I wish we could.
Check out this post at Mudflats to see how concerned (not) our legislators seem to be over Sarah's transgressions. We're trying our hardest to take her out up here so that you all won't ever have to deal with her again, but for some reason these guys think she's harmless. With this kind of representation, Alaskans are soooo fucked.

10. if the baby is healthy, and the lungs have full function
She sure can arrange for a C-section. When was her due date?

I did this, because my son has a bleeding disorder and we had already agreed with the doctor that the c-section would be safer for him. His arranged date was Christmas Eve, although I was pushing for the 21st (the pagan holiday).

I hope like hell these morons aren't doing this for publicity. It truly SUCKS to have a birthday close to Christmas - it's virtually impossible for the kid to have a party on the same day. And cheap-assed relatives always want to *combine* birthday and Christmas presents.

But I can see PR hungry Palinzilla doing it....poor little kid.

13. The baby was due last Saturday.
She wouldn't even need to have a C-section...they could induce, which is what my daughter had done when her youngest was born so that her husband could be present (he had to be out of state on the due date).

28. she's so young - wouldn't it be better NOT to induce?
It's not like she has health problems that would require it. I dunno, it's a weird business. But inducing for a Christmas birth is (IMO) stupid.

I keep looking to see if she's popped the kid. This info came up because of the "future" mother-in-law's bust on drug charges last week.

want to go through the pain of labor again. I think it happens often, and this wouldn't surprise me.

27. I'll be honest - *I* didn't want the pain of childbirth, either
And when my neighbor had a vaginal birth of an 11 pound baby that had problems later (we're talking TRUE conehead shaped head at birth) that required a shunt to be put in his skull, well - that scared the crap out of me too.

Sometimes it makes sense to do a C-section.

40. C-sections are awful
They cause so many problems with future pregnancies that it's not worth the risk (not to mention the risks of major surgery). Take it from someone who has done everything from completely drug-free to planned cesarean--go the natural route if at all possible!

The baby might have had some other problem that caused him to need a shunt (like water on the brain, unrelated to childbirth). I've never heard of that sort of problem in all my years as a mother and childbirth educator. Of course, I'm not saying it didn't happen because of his size in relation to the mom's size, but usually, their skulls are meant to deform.

Anyway, just my two cents. I hated my cesareans.

49. the shunt was related to sever pressure caused by his birth
This kid is severely damaged, due to the insistence of a *natural birth*. The pressure on his head caused the problems. He's got the mental capacity of a 4 year old. He's now about seventeen years old.

My son was born with hemophilia. If we had had a natural birth, the chances were good that he might have had a head bleed. That was the first and most important reason for having a C-section. As it was, he was born stress-free and perfect, with the C-section.

The option for c-sections should be there for parents with children who have problems. The neighbor with the kid who was damaged in childbirth went through over 24 hours in labor, and had listened to the c-section naysayers and wound up with a child who will never be able to fend for himself. And they will always wonder if things would have been different for their son if they'd listened to others.

ALL options should be explained to all parents facing childbirth.

42. Heh....she'll show up with this MIA Jesus in her arms

http://www.adn.com/crime/story/632997.html

A baby Jesus was stolen, leaving the Clover Pass Community Church without the figurine for its holiday nativity scene.

Denny Terry, the church member who set up the display, says the baby Jesus was stolen out of the manger. The hand-carved, life-sized figurine had been chained to the set, but Terry said someone got the chain undone and took it.

(snip)

The church is hoping the statues will be returned by Christmas morning.

there might be a point to your OP. But the only one there talking about the baby being born on Xmas Day was the one that doesn't like Palin.

Maybe your own obsession with the baby has gone too far. Take a break - it's Christmas!

like this. I predict a life of confusion and anxiety if something doesn't change for this child. Bristol and Levi need to pull their heads out and move as far away from their two mothers as possible.

I wonder if Bristol will let a few choice words fly while she is in labor on "Jesus' Birthday."
