Psychic Rids Money Of Demons, Steals $65K
35-Year-Old Woman Sought In Scam

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Authorities are looking for a self-proclaimed psychic who scammed five Broward County women out of nearly $65,000.

The Broward Sheriff's Office reports that Gina Marie Marks, 35, told the women she would rid their money of demons that brought them bad luck. The women gave Marks the cash for a spiritual cleansing and never saw it again.

The sheriff's office got a warrant for the Hollywood woman's arrest last week but haven't been able to find her. Authorities are concerned that there might be additional victims.

Marks also uses the name Regina Milbourne, under which she wrote the book "Miami Psychic" in 2006.

Many Gypsies are honest people but there is indeed a subculture within them that is all about stealing. Gina Marks is from that group - Marks is a common Gypsy surname.
