Palin's biggest campaign regret: Not enough media interviews
Posted: 05:50 PM ET

From CNN Associate Political Editor Rebecca Sinderbrand

(CNN) — Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s biggest mistake of the presidential campaign: not enough time with the media, the Alaska governor said in an interview published Monday.

“The biggest mistake made was that I could have called more shots on this: the opportunities that were not seized to speak to more Americans via media,” she told Human Events.

“I was not allowed to do very many interviews, and the interviews that I did were not necessarily those I would have chosen. But I was so thankful to have the opportunity to run with John McCain that I was not going to argue with the strategy decisions that some of his people were making regarding the media contacts.

1. Of course it wouldn't be inciting her crowds to violence.

3. She's as full of it as a Christmas goose!
Her biggest regret should have been getting into the game in the first place. She was nothing more than a media event. She has nothing to say on the issues that makes any sense. I imagine that without the campaign's scripts she would have really been at a loss.

7. I am so glad you put (not the Onion) in the headline
It's just so hard to tell reality from fiction any more.

12. She was a hideous speaker, wasn't she? There was a satire
piece (I think by Andy Borowitz) about trying to dissect and decipher her sentence structure. Everything she said was nonsense in both form and content.

10. Jesus, she doesn't even know why she wasn't allowed
to flap her gums in front of a camera. Poor Sarah is in need of a clue or two.

15. Just to play Palin's advocate...
Actually, McCain's.

She's actually got the kernel of an idea there. Had this product been rolled out to the public much, much earlier, in a more carefully controlled fashion, the old fucker McCain might've pulled this off. He had months before the convention to get us accustomed to the idea of this weird person on his ticket.

Instead, for reasons known only to the Goopers, they kept this big announcement on ice until they could step on Obama's after-DNC-speech bounce.

Really stupid move, in a campaign that was full of them.

Man o man, that campaign sucked! I'm confident that Obama could've beaten anyone the GOP tossed out there, but it sure did help that McCain was just dreadful at running for President.

Mitt Romney had me a little worried.
