Remember this about Tweety:
He states that he was born in Philly.

With that in mind, do recall that Orrin Hatch was born in Pittsburgh.

I mean, WTF? They both have as much to do with their cities of origin as..well I don't know what.

We report, you decide.

2. I thought he bought a house
in MA, right near Senator Kerry. Guess he just can't identify with MA though, he might be labeled a NE liberal.

4. He really bristled a while ago
when Howard Fineman was saying how nice Kerry was when Kerry had called him to offer assistance to him during his (Fineman's) prostate Cancer treatment. Tweety had nothing to say.

My dad was a Pittsburgher and he used to jokingly say about Hatch: "Whadya expect from a Pittsburgher who moved to Utah for political reasons?"

9. I personally believe that he is a latent homosexual...
he seems always to thrilled to talk about Clinton's drawers, and, with an unrelated guest while in Las Vegas, referred to the "rough trade" to be found in Vegas; and even the guest, (the mayor I think), didn't understand the reference! Tweety: Big Ass Queen.

11. Erm - generalized slam against all folks born in Pennsylvania?
Bah.

My FDR type liberal father was raised Philly. My Norwegian American mother was educated in Philadelphia. My born, raised, educated and lived in most of his life late Uncle was a civil rights leader in the city - and later became an advocate/activist per Apartheid in South Affrica more than a decade before it became a 'popular' issue here in the states. In fact he was in SA when he had the heart attack that killed him - and there was a quiet to do to ensure the safety of his body so that an autopsy could be done to determine the cause of death (and there was great concern that the SA regime in the seventies would tty to prevent an autoposy...)

But heck - a couple of folks out of millions born over many generations - should all be generalized/smeared due to two folks born in different parts of the state.

:puke: (note that this is an emoticon that I have rarely used in the five years that I have been on DU.)
