Rick Warren
In the hope that this site will at some point return to talking about things other than Rick Warren, I would hope that all upset and opposed to his inaugural participation have gone to the change.gov web site, found the contact form and emailed their opposition and strong feelings. We can carp 24/7 on this site and it does zero good. It only stirs up hard feelings from remarks often misinterpreted on an Internet forum. Just my 2 cents. http://change.gov/page/content/contact/

1. I wouldn't say it does "zero good."
I find expressing my opinion here to be a cathartic experience, and I enjoy the rantings of my fellow DUers.

2. It does zero good as far as actually getting the situation changed.
It's highly unlikely the Obama team will monitor the DU and say, "Eureka! We made a mistake, the masses really are angry." Flood their web site.

4. Well, he's already had to come out and defend his record of being
a fierce advocate for gay rights because of our upheaval. Strictly from DU? no.

Do you think that Obama, who just ran the most internet connected campaign doesn't have someone monitoring the new "man on the street" type of feeling from the web?
