I wonder what would happen if we got put on the California ballot

Mind you I only post this to illustrate a point.

Imagine if you will if we got enough petitions to put onto the ballot outlawing all Mormons from driving motor vehicles upon public highways and after it passed the police set up shop outside Mormon churches and arrested any Mormon who drove onto the public highway.

The point is: Would the Mormons except that this was the will of the majority by popular vote? Or would they cry foul and insist that this wasn't constitutional?

Of course this is ridiculous, but, not any more ridiculous than what they did with prop 8.
