5. Okay I am no art connoisseur but...

It looks like the couch and the black chair are on different levels, not the same floor
the colors of the couch and his shirt completely don't compliment each other
the crispness of the shirt (especially his right arm) is in great contrast to the rustic rough look to the backdrop
He looks like he is in relief of the picture (is that the right term?) he looks like he is cut out of another picture and pasted into this one
the lower area, his legs, are just a blackened non-painted area
