1. Mind you the orange county polic are inept. I have been here since 2002
and these people are a joke. How they had a tip about the bag from August and could not find it is absurd. The woods are literally "down the block" from the grandmothers house.

2. She's the M.E for this case?
Love her lots. Her show is really interesting if you've never seen it. It's not gory at all. More problem solving.

So sad though.

4. RIP. I cannot imagine how it would feel to have a missing child, and then have child found murdered.

5. Wow. That whole thing is just unbelivably awful.
I just do not understand any woman who would kill her children because they were an inconvenience. Yet it happens more than you would think.

Or any woman that would move in - or have anything to do with - a man who would harm her children. And that seems to happen all of the time.

7. It's like the Male Lion
who takes over a pride and has to kill the previous male's kittens.

:-(

9. Something is not right because where the bag was found is too close
to the street. I am still not sure it was the mother. I am amazed she has not cracked, grown men have admitted to doing a crime they KNEW they did not do and she still has not.

12. From what I've read that bag was reported by the same
meter reader back in August. They'd sent a deputy to look for it and he apparently couldn't find it.

16. That area seems to be densely wooded and in Florida in the summer the underbrush is thick
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=suburban+drive,+orlando+fl&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS280US281&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title

Look at the Google map satellite view - where the body was found is to the east (right) of the "A" marker, in the wooded area. The Anthonys live down the last street, Hopespring Drive almost directly opposite where Reginald Road comes in. Casey Anthony attended the school that is across Suburban just northeast of the place where the body was found. Casey and her friends probably walked home through those woods, played in them and explored them. According to the news, neighborhood kids buried their pets in that stretch of woods.

I grew up in Central Florida and it is completely plausible to me that you could walk 20-30 feet off the road and not been seen from the road at all. And since it looks as though that road dead ends at the school, during the summer there would not be much traffic out there. That is why the meter reader's story of going out there to relieve himself is entirely believable - he would have been invisible from the street and so would someone burying a body.

11. That's the sad reality
Nameless, to the public anyway, children die everyday from abuse because they don't capture the media's attention. The kids that do, wind up being stand-in victims for all the rest.

14. But the outcry over the few white girl children that have been murdered
Has lead to more efforts at finding all missing and murdered children. I've watched some of the Cold Case episodes (not the dramatic series but the real life documentaries) where they found skeletal remains and tracked them to children who simply disappeared thirty, forty, fifty years ago and no one even reported them missing. These days that would be nearly impossible.

Yes, every case should be equally scrutinized, but we all know the M$M is going to go for publicizing the "sexiest" cases - and the bias is for blonde white females.

15. Yup, so the OP has a sad face because it was Caley
It doesn't change the fact that the body was a victim no matter who she turned out to be.
