NYPD cop facing prison time for citizen abuse exposed on Youtube

Patrick Pohan’s promising career as a New York City police officer lasted a mere three weeks before he was stripped of his badge and placed on probation.

The 23-year-old son of a highly respected NYPD detective was caught body slamming a bicyclist in Times Square for no apparent reason during a Critical Mass bike ride last July.

Pohan arrested the cyclist and charged him with attempted assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Christoper Long, a 29-year-old New Jersey man, ended up spending 26 hours in jail.
